Just to clarify, nobody *wants* their kid to wear a mask but I understand why we do it. Despite the picture you try to paint, I am not some anti mask, anti vax Trump supporter. From my personal experience I just don't think there has been enough understanding in regard to kids who struggle with it. That's not whining or being selfish but you love going around in circles on this.

If its a choice of your kid wearing a mask, or potentially catching a possibly fatal virus, smart people want their kid to wear a mask.

But hey, parents know best the health care needs of their kids.
 
That's a need to wear a mask, which I get. I am not screaming to unmask our children (not yet anyway) which I know a lot of people are. That has not been my point.

I had to go back to the office a couple months ago and have been busy with work besides the extra time involved in going into the office. I just haven’t been super interested in even reading cafe recently too.

My stance on Covid has been consistent the entire pandemic, not quite sure why that makes me a coward.

Before I would make that bet I would bet they will expect full medical coverage, full sick pay, full disability benefits if they are unvaccinated and are sick. I also wonder just how many of them feel that women should be using a bunch of fabric to be modest but not cover their face with a few inches of fabric.
 
Interesting experiment.

Some residents at a Broward apartment complex say they won’t get vaccinated even though their landlord has issued an edict.

The sign on the rental office at Inverrary Village says as of August 15 employees and new tenants must be vaccinated. Existing tenants must prove at least one vaccination before their lease is renewed.

Hard for me to believe that is legal, or that it should be legal, in light of the state's idiotic mandate ban.

Note also: lots of POC still have Tuskegee Trepidation so it's not all good news.

So assume a hypothetical evenly split district. 12% of Dems and 45% of Republicans are unvaxxed so presumably Republicans will die 4x as fast as Dems. Seems to me that means for every 1% fatality rate the GOP loses a net (45-12)/45 = .73% in the electorate. There have been 650M deaths in about 18 months so let's say the death rate .65/300 x 1/1.2 = .0018 a.k.a. .18%. "If these trends continue,", that hypothetical district would now be .073% net less Republican on deaths. So if it had been 50.030 - 49.970 it would have flipped to 49.957 - 50.043.

Deaths: 1564 (0.013 of cases)
