Well yes, people who already had covid are getting their second exposure with the first shot.

That's the opposite of what the theory Drew cited would imply. So it's not a "yes," it's a "huh?"

Unless I completely missed the point which, you know, wouldn't be the first time.

I’m agreeing with him. He’s saying those who
Have not been exposed to covid had their bad reaction to the second shot, which is their second exposure.
for those of us who have had covid, the first shot is our second exposure and that’s why that shot is worse for us.

I was a little fatigued day after first shot and could barely move my arm

I did miss something then. Why is second exposure wors... oh. Because now you have antibodies.

I was talking to someone yesterday who mentioned that the theory is if you had Covid you have a negative reaction to shot #1 and if you haven't had Covid you have a negative reaction to shot #2.
The physical therapist I was seeing for my shoulder(complete tear of the supraspinatus) had Covid was in the hospital for a month spending 10 days on a respirator. She said she was knocked on her arse and spent 2 days in bed after both doses(not sure which manufacturer).
So the way I look at it is these vaxes affect different people differently. ~ Captain Obvious

I got randomly selected to go to the MOA today...but while I was filling it out the appointment filled. I could go tomorrow but I have plans so Monday it is...for now!

Yeah they barely looked at my Dad's ID when I took him in.

North Memorial is just as dumb...that is why I am going to Wal-Mart :^)

That kind of goes with my theory that the reaction to the vaccine is an indicator of how you would have reacted to the virus. The worse reaction to the vaccine, the worse off you would have been had you gotten infected.

Minnesota Wild to start having 3,000 fans attend games in early April.

As Covid restrictions are completely lifted elsewhere #CovidZombie States will have to follow suit and keep pace. Otherwise at some point their Zombie Citizenry who can't form a thought without tuning into Covid Circuit Experts (some of the most conflicted of interest people on the planet) might actually form a thought on their own.

"Hey why are Covid situations the same no matter what? That place..."
  • Has no mask mandate
  • Kids have been in person school all year
  • Restaurants are fully opinion
  • Travel and Tourism is open
  • Sporting events with 20k - 60k packed in tight
  • Gyms are open, with no masks
"I can't figure it out & I'm not ready to observe the World and think critically on my own. Time to tune in on Twitter and consume more FearPorn."

Oh well, maybe some day. #CovidZombies.

This seems reasonable, but I don't think there's any actual data backing this up at this time.

I don't think your theory is very sound. A strong reaction to the vaccine means you have a very robust immune response to the spike protein. That's why the second dose usually makes you feel worse -- it's your immune system going nuts in response to the spike protein your cells are producing. The side effects are caused by the activation of your immune system, and I don't think there would be any indication that strong vaccine side effects means one would have been at risk for severe covid-19 disease.

I would guess that people that have a strong response to the first dose probably have already been exposed to covid-19
