Covfefe-19 The 12th Part: The Only Thing Worse Than This New Board Is TrumpVirus2020

So, purposefully misrepresenting what Fauci and others have said is how we're rolling? ok.

The common cold is caused by a zillion viruses. the four non-lethal human coronaviruses that we know about are among them, but they are far from the most common causes (rhinoviruses take that trophy). And yes, if you were exposed to one of those four coronaviruses (or managed to live through SARS 1 or MERS), you might have some limited immunity to SARS 2. Or you might not, and in fact it might be much worse for you.

If you want to take that established fact (which is more or less true for any family of virus), and extrapolate that the 70-80% spread required for effective herd immunity is actually 25%, then I don't know what to tell you. But that's Enron-level accounting.

They dont understand science do you think they get math at all? Even the ones will do will never admit they got it wrong because like their God King never admits he was wrong.

Misrepresenting how? Its exactly what he said. As well as some phantom study that he cited yesterday.

extrapolate cross immunity to 70-80%??? No, who said anything close to that?

Fauci himself said that about 22% of NY has been exposed to Covid and if around a 1/3 have cross immunity that is bumping up against 60%.

Not to mention that he is now stating that there is NO cross immunity. lmao

Why do you think that areas that have been hit hard already are now seeing a slow down? Please say, social distancing, hand sanitizer and masks. lmao.

So anyone putting there kids in youth sports this fall/winter? Our county is in "Safer at home" with the following guidance:
  • People who are 11 years and older are required to wear a covering over their noses and mouths.
  • Stay at home as much as possible.
  • Practice good hygiene. Wash your hands frequently and don’t touch your face.
  • Wear a face covering or mask when you leave your home.
  • Connect with neighbors and loved ones virtually.
Yet youth and HS outdoor and indoor sports are a full go. So somehow it makes sense to connect with loved ones virtually, but it's cool to head to the Y for Timmy's basketball game. It's so incredibly frustrating. The HS coaches definitely see any precautions forced upon them as a huge annoyance they will ignore as much as possible, and youth sports seem to be taking no precautions at all beyond putting out a bottle of hand sanitizer.

Following one career bureaucrat and not asking any questions seems so scientific. LMAO. It is over, pack up your bags and move on. Find something else to Wet Yourself Over #BedWetters

Chief Science Officer for Pfizer Says "Second Wave" Faked on False-Positive COVID Tests, "Pandemic is Over"

https://hubpages.com/politics/Pfizer...ndemic-is-Over

Dr. Yeadon said in the interview that, given the "shape" of all important indicators in a worldwide pandemic, such as hospitalizations, ICU utilization, and deaths, "the pandemic is fundamentally over

"there is no science to suggest a second wave should happen." The "Big Pharma" insider asserts that false positive results from inherently unreliable COVID tests are being used to manufacture a "second wave" based on "new cases."

"we are basing a government policy, an economic policy, a civil liberties policy, in terms of limiting people to six people in a meeting...all based on, what may well be, completely fake data on this coronavirus?"

"Were it not for the test data that you get from the TV all the time, you would rightly conclude that the pandemic was over, as nothing much has happened. Of course people go to the hospital, moving into the autumn flu season...but there is no science to suggest a second wave should happen."

Yeah... he didn't say there was no cross immunity. He corrected the muddled dribble from an over-his-skis Senator.

Why? Because of masks, social distancing and other closures. That's why. There's no real counter-argument left. You're arguing that the earth is flat at this point.

Ahh, I see another noted detractor (who's only ever referenced in hilariously ridiculous blogs online) asserts data is faked without a scintilla of evidence. Well I'm convinced!

Over 200,000 dead and counting. But... faked!

The strange thing is how many engineers are on the Far Right. Many of the EE lab guys in my office are staunch Trump supporters. These men need Euler's Identity and Fourier Transforms to do their work. They do high level math and they understand a scientific discipline (electronics) which no matter how assiduously I study slips from my mind like rainwater the second my head is turned. There are plenty of synapses there. But when it comes to social science they are gullible and gravitate to resentment and racial identity.

It is not so much that they have inferior wiring as different wiring. It is as if humanity evolved into cats to do the fine functions (ideas, theoretical activity, empathy) and dogs to do the rough functions (labor, applied activity, violence). But now robots have been developed to do the dog stuff better, and without the negative side effects.

No evidence about the cases data being a disaster? You are joking right?

There is an abundance of evidence about the PCR tests.

And then there is the data management issue. Texas for example just got caught dumping 8,000 cases into their total that date back to as far as March! How does that type of management help drive good policy? OH screwed up and accidentally added over 10K+ cases to their totals that never happened at any time. That will drive great decisions!

Care to address this one?

Hey Swangsong can you let me know the last time a respiratory disease only required a positive PCR test as the sole method of diagnosis and not a clinical examine to validate the test?

This is what a case looks like. Garbage data in garbage data out is what we have for "Cases"

Does the Board Facist ^^ every actually post about the virus in this thread?

If the earth was flat at least we could shove the dummies off the edge

I should have known not to bother.

Trollbot is all revved up today.

Good post. For having all the "Science" in your back pocket you really struggle to articulate what you think.

No that doesn't make any sense at all.

Either does your frustration, get over your fetish of being so concerned what other people do with their lives.

If you want to stay at home as much as possible go for it.

Husband's cousin is offering to host Thanksgiving this year. She just posted a joke to social media: "Why doesn't coronavirus effect the Amish? Because they don't have tv".
Yeah, I'm not going to Thanksgiving with the Faux News brainwashed parts of the family that don't treat this virus as the threat it is.

I try to refrain from arguing via social media, but I really want to respond to this statement about the Amish with: 'because they don't crowd into bars. Or because they respect the other members of their community enough to make sacrifices for each other.'

Or, they aren't taking a PCR test.

Always nice to hear from Karen about what other folks might decide to do with their lives.

I have no idea what county you come from, but in our county/state ... yes, youth/HS sports are pretty much green-lighted, with some schools, clubs or programs opting out. So be it. Players are offered the opportunity to play and compete close to normal, and those who are uncomfortable with it, well, they don't have to participate. Nevertheless, it seems like those who choose not to participate get angry at those who do choose to participate. Why is that??

FWIW I coached my usual full Summer season of just over a dozen games involving players aged 14-21, following all of the local guidances and protocols set down by the local and state authorities. None of it was anywhere close to as restrictive as what you outlined above. In fact, we drew more than the usual number of participants from across state lines. We were all completely responsible, and guess what? No one got sick, no players from the opposing teams got sick, and the season was 100% fine as usual. Those players have since returned to their HS and college programs, and no incidents have cropped up there either. And if they did, the player would have quarantined for the designated time, and returned to play. No big deal.

Yes, now we must be mad at the Amish for not falling into line with the alarmist narrative.

"Mask thyself up, Caleb". Sheesh, you folks are relentless ...

I'm just offended she mixed up effect and affect.
