The maskless conservative dou-chebag is a bigger risk to more people than your hypothetical shooter, 130k to 40k, but I am glad to see you support gun control.

I'm sure there are a few Green Party and limousine lib anti-vaxxer loons running around without masks, trying to catch it so they recover and get the antibodies. But the overwhelming number of maskless morons screaming about MUH FREEDUMBZ have been on the hard right.

Tell us again who made this political?

If mask wearing is a law...and people break it...should people just let it go when it could be life threatening? Again... conservatives brought this on themselves.

It's not "that" because it's political. But honestly, you will probably have a more difficult time avoiding the guy driving recklessly on the highway than you will the guy without the mask. It's really not that hard. I give a wide berth to dogs, small kids, people in Rascal scooters and all kinds of others. It's really not that hard.

You do know that the virus has been found to live in the air for 16 hours right?
Thats the issue with not wearing masks...the virus hangs around. It isn't just about avoiding direct contact.
And again...the politicizing was done by the right not the left...so If you have an issue with that.. check your own party.

A couple of things. I'm not whining about defunding the police. I'm mocking it because I know it'll never happen, I know you guys are going to forget all about it when another shiny object catches your attention, and a year from now I'll probably forget to come on here and tease all of you about it. That's different than whining.

Second, and I've posted this a number of times before and my posting history should certainly bear this out. You will very rarely see me come on here and say "I agree" with something that eight other posters have already posted about. I think it's stupid, and a waste of my time. Adding "me too" does nothing for these threads, certainly not after the first couple.

If I think an important point was made that one or two others have agreed with, but others have disputed, then I may come on here and throw in my two cents in support of one side or the other.

I haven't seen anyone here trying to defend the idiots who call 911 because a black person is walking his dog, or having a picnic in the park, or any of the other things people are calling 911 about. There isn't a defense.

Trust me, if I thought your "Karens" were getting a raw deal, I certainly wouldn't hesitate to let you know that. It's not like I avoid taking a minority position around here.

anyway serious question here. Masks should be mandatory forever moving forward correct? If they stop respiratory illness from a spreading then we should wear forever, no?

or is their a threshold of death?

You're a science denier no matter what you say about your "massive experience" in stats.
But there will eventually be this thing called a vaccine.

Personally though...if masks became mandatory for the rest of my life...so be it.
I'll do what I need to to keep myself and those around me alive.

The people who are not wearing masks for ideological reasons are conservatives ranting about FREEDUMB. The people opposing them aren't "woke," we just have a grasp of the benefits of taking medical and science advice from doctors and scientists. If your people have decided the law of gravity is "woke" you have only yourselves to blame when you fall.
