I am curious if any of you are wearing goggles when you have to leave your bunker? Or maybe even wearing goggles in your bunker?

It is a once in a lifetimer Corona Virus so I would think people want to take every single feasible precaution to stopping the spread, no? #AllInThisTogether

If masks are mandatory...I have no issues with authorities being called for breaking it.
If Karen can call for a kid selling water...too bad so sad now that it's been turned against you.

Undoubtedly the new and improved replacement for the Minneapolis PD will have a mask department, to go along with the squads of social workers.

I can't claim any credit. Some silliness just writes itself. It's a great world you guys are creating. People calling 911 because someone isn't wearing a mask. Public policy by twitter mob. Can't wait to see what's next.

Can you be specific about the public policy by twitter mob?

Can't be the masks, since that has actual science behind it. From actual particle testing to seeing the data in New York City that brought up the theory that masks are significantly more effective in preventing the spread than social distancing. None of that was twitter led.

Maybe it's the police that have turned public health policy into a political item and are declaring themselves immune from enforcement? Is that in twitter?

Perhaps if more people took the strong science seriously, then people would wear masks to prevent the spread, then the confusion on who should be enforcing it would not be questions. But we know that can't happen, because people like you don't feel that they have any obligation to help other people- remember you don't feel that social distancing is your responsibility.....

It's too bad that someone tries to make a mockery of good science data that turned into public policy by calling it the same method that moron in chief tries to run the country. Some may call that ironic.

masks are an affront to my freedom
statistics are misleading as the deaths that happened in the past don't count
we can't be like other, free, countries because... (never got a good reason why to make fun of).

Didn’t you know? Life is way more fun on permanent semi lockdown, as long as people have their freedumb to not wear masks and spread the Rona

It used to be, even 3-5 years ago, you could come to this site and find people linking to, and talking about stories in The Atlantic, The Economist, The New York Times, and numerous other well-written, sometimes controversial articles on public policy or issues facing the country.

Today, it's twitter. People have lost the ability to think beyond 280 characters (I suppose we're lucky it's not still 140).

I don't mock the use of masks. I use them all the time. I'm actually starting to like them, and I'm sure I will even more once the January Minnesota wind kicks in.

What I mock is the idea of idiots literally calling 911 to report someone not wearing a mask. Here, let me put the shots fired call on hold while I deal with your pizzing match with another idiot over the wearing of masks. That's the stupidity I mock.
