That's Colorado Springs. That's ground zero for Evangy F-cktardery in the world. It's a beautiful area but Dr. Mrs. and I specifically vetoed moving there because the people are so doorstop stupid.

Every time I’d go there for work I’d see people praying at fast food joints.

I’d stay at hotel near focus on the family hq. I’d see gift bags for them at the hotel check in desk. I brought condoms with me and would slip them into their gift bags when front desk was busy.

What I don't get is how we're an order of magnitude lower in deaths/1MM population than Span, France, Italy, Iran, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Belgium (or two orders in the case of Italy). I get that we're a week or two behind the other countries, but I figured we'd have started to catch up by now. When you compare this graph:
<img src=https://www.ft.com/__origami/service/image/v2/images/raw/http%3A%2F%2Fcom.ft.imagepublish.upp-prod-us.s3.amazonaws.com%2F2c0da71c-6e12-11ea-89df-41bea055720b?fit=scale-down&quality=highest&source=next&width=800>

to this graph:

<img src=https://www.ft.com/__origami/service/image/v2/images/raw/http%3A%2F%2Fcom.ft.imagepublish.upp-prod-us.s3.amazonaws.com%2F25ac84ba-6e12-11ea-89df-41bea055720b?fit=scale-down&quality=highest&source=next&width=800>

It would seem we have far, far more cases than any other country at this point. But the deaths have been significantly less through the entire timeline. I assume this is just the calm before the storm. THe median days between onset of symptoms and death was something like 10-14 days. Also, holy **** is that anxiety-provoking. You cough and wonder.

Anyways, I just don't want to get lulled into a sense of security as this becomes the new normal. People thinking, "well, I haven't caught it yet, so I probably won't" and then we get an explosion of cases again.

I'm sorry, but this doesn't compute. Like, this has to be an Onion headline, right?

Re: Covfefe-19 - Part 4- Stay the **** Home

We don’t wanna be socialist like Venezuela so we can’t active production act!
You have strict test limit! And store shelves are empty. Yeah...

Man, that is bad. They only started generating non-trivial numbers a couple days ago so they should be many days from their peak.

Big cities in red states are in severe danger:

Code:
Houston
Phoenix
San Antonio
Dallas
Austin
Jacksonville
Fort Worth
Columbus
Charlotte
Indianapolis
El Paso
Nashville
Memphis
Oklahoma City
Louisville
Tucson
Mesa
Atlanta
Kansas City
Miami
Raleigh
Omaha
Tulsa
Arlington
Tampa
Wichita
Cleveland
Corpus Christi
Lexington
St. Louis
Cincinnati

A literal killer combination of large, dense population plus lazy, ignorant, incompetent governance.

NC has a Dem Govenor. So that has helped some. Durham is on shelter in place offically. I'd expect the rest of the state to be so soon as well.

Unofficially it was already recommended of course.

Every time I’d go there for work I’d see people praying at fast food joints.

I’d stay at hotel near focus on the family hq. I’d see gift bags for them at the hotel check in desk. I brought condoms with me and would slip them into their gift bags when front desk was busy.

You are my hero.

Makes perfect sense to me.

It’s true. I couldn’t stand the hypocrites I’d encounter being that close to Focus HQ so I started bringing the condoms. God knows I don’t want them reproducing

I imagine this is not a fun place to work under the best of conditions, but right now with toddlers running the federal government it must be hell.
