My wife’s hospital is no longer allowing PM visitors (not because of virus, because of theft). Someone even stole 10 papr masks (how ridiculous).
Breaks my heart seeing these 80 maybe even90 year old ladies in the store looking for TP or other essentials, then you see the (Walmart looking) type of lady in her 40s with a cart full of TP and baby wipes...
I saw craigslist ads for$100 packs of TP. Idk if they were taken down over death threats, or flagged. Terrible.
These people must be truly atheist. Imaging there actually being a judgement day and you have to explain your actions that you—as a non-vulnerable age group, hoarded up onTP and other supplies and made these poor old vulnerable people have to travel to stores all over town in search.

I bought those Costco TP packs one lasts like 6 months. Give me a break that u need 3...

Use a cloth and wash it! Or (last resort) leaves! Hell, humans cleaned their personal regions with their left hands for centuries before toilet paper or proper handwashing were a thing.

The TP run is farking insane. OTOH, great time to be in the bidet business.

It will be interesting to see analyses in a few years about the pandemic’s effects on economies, carbon emissions (for example Delta is grounding half their fleet and people everywhere aren’t driving), birth rates, government spending, etc. etc. This feels like a turning point for a lot of societal norms.
