Re: Covfefe-19: Do What Now?

Gavin Newsome saying half of California may be infected within 8 weeks according to CNN

Got disconnected after being on hold for 30 minutes

Delta web site says not to change your plans yet unless you travelling within 72 hours. We are not. We will be in that window tomorrow though.

Try Facebook messenger- I heard that worked for several last week

This is literally an hour-by-hour situation. I wouldn't count on flying home. I also can't imagine what the border would be like if you wanted to drive back.

Re: Covfefe-19: Do What Now?

I would not recommend driving lol. That state isn’t great outside of the resort areas of PV

Re: Covfefe-19: Do What Now?

Honest question, is that flaggy in the other covid thread? Or is that other poster really that stupid?
Stupid can get you killed... Hopefully the person is friendless- less spread.

They came out saying Americans need to come home NOW. News showing folks from places where there are no flights left. (Morocco was the one I saw)

Re: Covfefe-19: Do What Now?

Yeah CNN said that...but there is no way we can get out tonight. I am trying to possibly rebook for Sunday. If I am stuck we do have a place to stay at least and I can do my job remotely. (college professor)

Driving is not an option :)

That too.

Ew where is he posting? Need to quarantine myself

He's sticking to ECAC and RPI threads. Let him be. When he isn't posting conspiracy theories and other junk he's fine. His contributions to the D-I side of things are numerous.

Re: Covfefe-19: Do What Now?

Delta FB Messenger basically said to wait until the 72 hour window. I could just rebook but I am not even sure they will let me yet...might have to wait til tomorrow.

Re: Covfefe-19: Do What Now?

Big news on ESPN is that Sean Paton (HC of the Saints) has Covid19.

He said he felt bad while at a horse race somewhere he needed to fly back to NO.

And now he's taking the road of "pay attention and to your part to not spread it".

Seems honorable, and that's how ESPN is spinning it. But last I checked, the suggested responsible travel restrictions were last week (Friday?), so why in the world were you travelling to a horse race??? Non vital travel right there.

And then he's never had any serious symptoms- just felt bad. How in the world did he get a test? Are there no actual sick people in New Orleans???

Finally, his "quarantine" ends this weekend. Wait, less than a week????

How in the world is this guy a poster child to do the right thing WRT coronovirus????? Seems like he's the example of how not to do it, or take care of the right people who are actually sick with life threatening cases.

Re: Covfefe-19: Do What Now?

All those dummies from that church should NOT get treatment over others

Re: Covfefe-19: Do What Now?

The red counties had better start digging ditches. After all, they're always telling us blue county cityslickers that the world needs more of them and fewer college grads.

Re: Covfefe-19: Do What Now?

Of *course* he would choose "Non Playable Character #[rand]" as his new user name.

He was the same way under his old username. Very beneficial contributions on the D1 side. Something about the cafe just let him amp up the "double you tee eff."
