Sell the note to an American bank. Our debt collectors have no morals and don't give a flying fig about bad PR.
Hell, Wells Fargo will sell her house while she's still in ICU.

Speaking of, two of their Board of Directors quit yesterday, mere hours before they were to appear in front of congress this morning to explain the shady sh** they pulled.

I’m fully aware. The Minnesota Twins ownership family made their money kicking people out of their homes during the depression.

They still have to appear, right? It's not like you can say, "welp, I'm not with the corporation where I committed crimes so it looks like I'm in the clear!" I know the Republicans would like that to be the case but I don't think the legal system is quite that corrupt yet.

Not if the Italian government makes that illegal they won't.

It's amazing that government can actually work for people, not capital, when it is controlled by people, not capital. Something Americans over 60 can vaguely remember from personal experience.

This. Exactly this. It’s incredible that people don’t realize the government is for the people and corporations can f—ck themselves if we tell them to. God I hate what republicans have done to us.

It was like this before. The rich had us buffaloed in the 1880s and the 1920s. Each time it took a push from the people but we recaptured our government and made it work for us. And then the corrosion and corruption of money brought the rot back in.

We just have to fumigate again. It will be harder this time because we also have to fight their control of the somnambulizing media. But if people are desperate enough they'll try anything -- even democracy.

Don't they call that an ex post facto law. You take a contract that was legally entered into, then make it illegal after the fact?
