Cornell @ RPI, Friday, January 8th

Re: Cornell @ RPI, Friday, January 8th

Period ends with RPI up 1-0.
They are going to have to play better to come away with a win in this one. Kazzy is keeping us ahead so far.

Re: Cornell @ RPI, Friday, January 8th

Well Doc, you got your wish.
Not a wish. Just stating the obvious. You know, if all our games this year were 40 minutes long, we could be a top ranked team. Feola and crew would never allow us to go much longer without some sort of call and this one was as weak as most.

Re: Cornell @ RPI, Friday, January 8th

Decent play by Cornell in the first 2 and last 2 minutes. Otherwise, total crap.

They had the better of play for much longer than that. Just some bad bounces on their passes or else the score would be different. Kazzie has stopped a lot of rubber in the first two periods.

Re: Cornell @ RPI, Friday, January 8th

Outshot 30-13. With faceoffs even no less.
And we have yet to reach the third period where we have done so wonderfully all year. Outscored and outshot by wide margins. Cannot fault our guys up front so far but defensively, either we are truly missing Reno tonight or we are just terribly slow and making poor decisions.

Re: Cornell @ RPI, Friday, January 8th

RPI TV has about 150 more viewers than usual today. That can undoubtedly be attributed to Cornell fans. It is somewhat surprising considering Cornell's size that it isn't more.

I wonder whether the quality and value (free) of RPITV is perhaps not widely known. When I try to watch RPI (men's and women's) road games I get so frustrated dealing with pay walls (often with sneaky automatic renewals where you realize several months later that you are still getting charges on your credit card), sometimes poor video quality, often poor play-by-play, and sometimes no coverage at all.

I can second all of that. But I put everything on Jenny's charge card and let her deal with it all.

That's a good point. I often read positive comments about RPI-TV's coverage on eLynah, but that is also only a small part of the Cornell fandom.
