Has to be a bit of confidence to play with the first place team even through two periods. Just have to find a way to get a few more SOG.

Probably not going to get many with the way it's been going, so if we get them, we gotta make them count.

I feel like we have a bit of a moral victory here. I never expected to score tonight at all but to hold Cornell off the score sheet for 40 minutes and being outshot more than 2 to 1 is pretty special. Comes down to a 20 minute game and the third period has just not been out strong suit all season. Considering we are without our two top offensive threats tonight, as i said, a bit of a moral victory.

This season, unlike most others, Cornell's worst period has been the third: even in goals scored and goals allowed.

That's why Samec is the #7. Another old-regime recruit who has zero discipline.

That said, Malott has a future in sales. No doubt. :D
