5 on 5 RPI seems to be the slightly better team. But playing short handed for 6 minutes (30% of the period) made it rather tough. Thankfully our short handed play was effective. Perhaps the penalties will even out, but we are tempting fate with all these calls. Interesting game to watch though as this is one big Cornell team out there.

Colgate not having a lot of fun in the Capitol district so far. And SLU has jumped on Harvard early. This league is like trying to figure out US foreign policy. Confusing to say the least.

i do like the Cornell break out play and they carry the puck into the zone well. We better find a solution and pick up that trailing player or they are going to get some awful good looks at goal.

Living on the west coast, I never see games & am challenged to keep up w/ college hockey, except for being here. I appreciate all the updates & insights folks provide.

Is it my imagination or have the nets been coming off a lot tonight? Are both teams just crashing the net more than most evenings?
