Cornell & Colgate @ RPI & Union (12/4, 12/5)

Re: Cornell & Colgate @ RPI & Union (12/4, 12/5)

Bombs? Looks more like water balloons. And you wonder why you're not getting any reaction

Well, that counts as a reaction, and a pretty quick one at that.

I love you, LynahScott. Don't ever change.

Don't worry baby, I won't.

But seriously, you need some new material. Schafer's anti-Burgdoerfer campaign is sooooo last season. Keep up with the times: didn't you notice that Mike is looking chubbier this year, or that we're only been able to beat up on cupcake teams so far, or that RPI's engineers are still better at engineering than Cornell's engineers?

Let me know if you want more suggestions.

Re: Cornell & Colgate @ RPI & Union (12/4, 12/5)

RPI's engineers are waaaaaaaaaaaay better at engineering than Cornell's engineers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!one!

I can't believe it took you guys this long to realize.

I seem to have struck a nerve.

Seriously, I didn't notice any of those things because I don't care enough about Cornell to follow them that closely.

Funny, you sure seem to have put a lot of care into that blog: two separate posts, three photoshop projects...at least someone on here cares about us ;)

But don't worry, I fully expect you to explain how you didn't break a sweat coming up with that stuff :)

Real simple explanation? It all revolves around stuff that involves RPI. If it hadn't, I probably wouldn't have cared less.

Re: Cornell & Colgate @ RPI & Union (12/4, 12/5)

I didn't realize state schools had ivory towers. Is this a new initiative by the SUNY system to spruce up their faltering schools?

Indeed...Cornell had to cut all the custodial and cafeteria jobs to finance the project, but definitely money well spent.

Re: Cornell & Colgate @ RPI & Union (12/4, 12/5)

This is a BIG weekend for all four teams, as they are currently 2nd through 5th in the ECAC standings and should one team sweep this weekend, that team will most likely be in 2nd place behind Quinnipiac.

Colgate will be looking to avenge last year's 0-point fiasco in the Capital District, while Union will be looking to extend its unbeaten streak. RPI and Cornell will both be hoping to either leapfrog into or remain in 2nd place in the standings. Should be a great weekend!

Re: Cornell & Colgate @ RPI & Union (12/4, 12/5)

As far as Union is concerned, it will be interesting to see if Kinkaid continues in net or whether Milan will have a chance to play this weekend. Statistically at least, Kinkaid and Milan have fairly similar numbers, but Kinkaid has come up big in his most recent starts and Milan has been plagued by the soft goal propensity and will not have played in nearly a month. One other stat that jumps out in particular to me is the Cornell power play conversion rate of over 30% juxtaposed against Union's kill ratio of just over 70%. Staying out of the box will be a must for Union (duh) particularly against the Big Red. I haven't been following Colgate too closely but they obviously have gotten off to a good start and have some real snipers. It should be an entertaining weekend.

...suspect all the Cornell folks are doing their chatter and jabbing from within the borders of eLynah.

Oh that's right! How could I forget that the North Koreans don't allow contact with the outside world! Polyester pants and black and white TV for ALL !!!! :D

Nate would need a darn good reason not to start Kincaid after last weekend. I think the kid'll get the nod.

If I were you guys, I would stick with Kinkaid. He's legit.

Re: Cornell & Colgate @ RPI & Union (12/4, 12/5)

Yeah, but burgie is attacking all of SUNY Ithaca's schools, not just the Ag School, or the Arts School.

I believe he's mentioning this because he's presently far above Cayuga's waters, experiencing the smell.

That should do the trick, although I suspect all the Cornell folks are doing their chatter and jabbing from within the borders of eLynah.

Actually, there has been absolutely no discussion about this week's games over at eLynah. They're mainly still babbling about the BU game and to a lesser extent about how Harvard is doing.

That's because they are at a loss of words, because RPI is so good this year. I'm sure they will talk after they loose to us on Friday :D

Nah, I think we all had our fill of bickering with RPI fans last year :D

Cornell clutches and grabs.

Schafer is a whiner.

Burgdoerfer is a goon.

Davenport is a diving pu$$y.

That about sum it up?
