I'll ignore the white font but yes, Union was founded in 1795 so we are older than.
In order:
Harvard: 1636 (first in the nation)
Yale: 1701
Princeton: 1746
Brown: 1764
Dartmouth: 1769
Union: 1795
Colgate: 1819
RPI: 1824
St. Lawrence: 1856
Cornell: 1865
Clarkson: 1896
Quinnipiac: 1929
It's a good story, even if it may not be true.
BTW, I didn't realize that Cornell wasn't founded until 1865. That means that RPI is older than at least one of the so-called "Ancient Eight."Union is probably older than a few, but I guess older doesn't mean wiser in that case.
