Cops draw stun guns on UMD player

CCtig

I travel on the road to watch CC
True, it happened Saturday night, hopefully video will surface. In the third period of the UMD at CC game #26 Chad Huttle of UMD started a fight at center ice, was ejected from the game and was halfway to his visitor locker room in the tunnel when he became further enraged (out of control), turned around and tried to return to the ice at which time Colorado Springs police officers reportedly drew their stun guns in an effort to protect themselves and others from a crazed Chat Huttle. Thankfully Chad Huttle was escorted back to the locker room a second time by armed police officers before he reached the playing ice.

And guess who we play next?

Texting MEg now. This is signage material.

Re: Cops draw stun guns on UMD player

I think it's Jon Campion's fault.

Behave yourself dear. This would be much better if they actually tased him, just pulling out the tasers means they didn't want to have to actually confront the guy. Cops pull tasers on small children who don't behave these days, so its not that exciting

CCtig, does this really need its own thread? I do some classless things around here, but this has definitely knocked you down to my level. For whatever reason you feel the whole world needs to know about something I am sure the kid regrets.

I certainly hope a certain UMD fan, MEg's boyfriend, doesn't allow her to sit next to him with said sign. Also remember MEg is turning into quite the UMD fan, so it might not be a good idea for her to get to involved with bashing our team.

If he knows better, he'll be holding the sign up so people can see it... :D

I'll tell her to go easy on him. As easy as you went on John Scott when he pulled a drunken Grand Theft Auto on some kid. :p

Yes, it does. And I have never been to your level, I have always been below it and suspect I always will be.

So railroading a 20 year old kid in a public forum is classy and needs it's own thread? Hmm, nice. Don't worry, you have not reached my level whether you want to admit it or not.

Re: Cops draw stun guns on UMD player

Whatever happened, I'm sure Huttle regrets it and will also pay the price for it. Not that I am excusing his actions, but sometimes things happen in the heat of the moment that we wish we could take back. I suspect this is one of those.

Re: Cops draw stun guns on UMD player

I guess this is better than a thread pointing out what Huttel does on the ice.

I bet you're one of those Tyler Hirsch apologetics too. And never made fun of TJ Oshie for peeing in an elevator. Or Joe Finley for moving his living room out to the middle of a street :D

She will not be sitting next to me. She will be with the Tech nerds that will be in attendence. I would not allow that in our student section.

She is determined to make the sign...we will see what I can do about the actual sign on Friday :)

BTW UMD has no play named Chad Huttle. We do have a player named Chad Huttel however.

Reporting an incident that occurred at a public setting = railroading?

Ooookaaaayyyy.

If it weren't something he regrets doing, it probably wouldn't be worthy to be made fun of.

  • I am pretty sure I heard a lot of Vick dog fighting jokes going around teams with dog mascots... never mind, he doesn't regret the actual dog fighting, my bad.
  • And the elevator urinater NEVER got mad fun of because that is something he regrets.
  • Nor are there ever any jokes about a certain MTU player trying to run down someone with their automobile...
  • Or making fun of the entire Wisconsin for their <s>amusing</s> terrible hazing practices.

Seriously, this **** happens all the time and we all laugh about it. What is different this time? Are you seriously thinking that a single CC fan poster is going to ruin the reputation of a UMD player by starting a thread on USCHO's forum (number 1 news source for america, right?)?
