Hamilton is rolling in his grave at what the NY Post has become.

I've actually been wondering if we're going to see widespread kneeling at NFL games. Provided we have NFL games.

Thank you. I thought I "I Have a Dream" speech was there, but the photo with it is usually from behind showing the reflecting pond.

Seeing these two photos from about the same angle made my stomach churn.

Where's all the consternation and angst about this?

Bad police officers need to be fired. We all agree on that. Who protects them? Their union maybe for one. There definitely needs to be reform there.

It's not about race, it's about bad cops.

Re: Cops 9: You Are What Now?

Look everyone, Timmy found a white perp abused by the cops! Surely that negates all the statistics that show minorities are subjected to the vast majority of police abuses!

Yeesh. Timothy, with all respect, it's very much NOT a good time to cry the white man tears about being put-upon. Think about this story today in the NYT: "Minneapolis police use force against black people at 7 times the rate of whites."

So then why the disparity in numbers, then?

Sure, our police state is clearly a problem. But to suggest that a minority has the gross majority of bad cop incidents has nothing to do with race ... uh, maybe we need to give you a glass belly button, so that you can see with your head up you butt so far.

Once again, nobody is listening. The fear of not coming home is an every day occurrence for people of color. It's not if you don't.
