In a linked article they talk about the George Floyd Challenge...I honestly didnt believe it when I heard about it the other day (and I would never look at a picture of that crap anyways) but good god. White People, especially young ones, are just pure drip slime. (as is anyone who does it)

On a serious note...I went to DC for the first time a few years back one of my favorite trips of all time. (watched the 4th of July fireworks from the Washington Monument which was very cool) One of the best parts was the ability to walk to all of these famous locations, see all these sites I have studied and loved from afar forever without needing anything. Seeing troops and fences up around all of it now makes me ****ing sick.

No, it’s the town right next to Wasilla so it’s more a “I didn’t do anything wrong, I have freedumb of speech! In real Alaska we don’t have those problems!”

Depends on where you live. If you live in the MatSu Valley (which is basically Anchorage with more racism and farms) or some other town on the road system (like Kenai or Seward or whatever) than Anchorage is “fake”, if you live in someplace off the road system like Bethel or Nome than anywhere on the road system is fake, and if you live in a tiny village than anywhere not your tiny village is fake.

So, a local suburb here is having a scheduled protest today. My friend lives there and was texting she heard that instigators coming to disrupt it. Now she texted “Antifa showed up and there are copters everywhere.” How do they know it’s Antifa? They don’t wear jerseys with a logo, do they? While I am not saying it’s not Antifa, I think, unless Antifa is organized enough to have a spokesperson to release information that they were I deed heading there to disrupt this protest, you can’t say it’s them. Is that off base to think that?

Not on the book of faces or bird songs site. But I think it would be funny for the DC protesters to just all stand outside their doors for a few hours. Don't congregate, especially around the fences- just to show the waste that they are. Come up with a clever way to show the people who are putting that all together how incredibly stupid their boss is.

Have a fence but nobody to keep out. That would be pretty epic.

Heard this on MI NPR while driving around- the protest in Grand Rapids went beyond the curfew- and wandered around town for almost 8 miles until returning to the original start.

They spent a lot of time asking any of the police to kneel down with them- and after a while, three of them did. Arousing a large cheer. Then everyone just went home.

May have not been genuine, but it also may have been. Either way, a very violent protest the night before was very, very peaceful. Including a side story where a woman came out to confront the crowd as they wandered through their neighborhood (telling them that they don't belong there.... ok...)- they took the bat from her, and escorted her to safety. Then just moved on.

THAT is how to protest.
