I think plenty of people are being far too easy on Drew Brees. He is either a completely out of touch idiot, or he is racist. His crap about the flag and kneeling is straight out of trump's and the far right's handbook.

I think Kaepernick's kneeling is not only NOT disrespectful to anything, it happens to be just about the most patriotic act one can do. If our military only protects our right to say nice, positive things, there is no point. The entire point is to protect people who are saying uncomfortable things. Frankly I think every American who loves this country should make a point of kneeling the next time they hear the anthem being played. I plan on it the next time I am at a sporting event.

Sadly, millions of people believe the garbage Brees spews. My not much missed co-workers would line up with him 100%.

I don't think he's being political. I think he's so ignorant he believes it.

Given what we have seen from Dump and the GOP, we will need another way to communicate than the internet and cell phones. How exactly are we going to reach one another if the USG goes full PRC?
