It's not hard to figure that out. One small step of empathy is all it takes. Even if it's just to avoid violence.

We had peaceful protests in Aurora, IL where the police Chief joined in, was seen hugging and mingling with the crowd.

Couple hours later the rioters went nuts on downtown Aurora.

The opportunists (rioters/looter) are just a**holes.

They really don't like cell phone stores. The Boost Mobile on 44th and Penn got hit. Tori 44 and Emily's are still good, though.

Can anyone offer a reasonable explanation for this? I mean were these guys all impersonating Boston police? Anything? I mean it would be nice if more cops were actually, you know, on our side. But instead of this, how about marching with us? Or kneeling with us? Or maybe just stop shooting citizens standing on their porches, journalists and unarmed black men? That was just bizarre.

LOL, protesters had already vandalized the cruiser and they were trying to knock out the window so they could drive it away.
