It's very hard to get real info from outlets like CNN and ABC since their coverage is such self-serving pablum. ABC currently bemoaning how hard it is for "a good department" to control "one rogue officer." And that's the liberal media!

I remember the same complacency and cluelessness in the national media as far back as Rodney King. Maybe they're just too rich to know, or maybe they know alright but they're under orders from their sponsors to keep to the house line ("nothing systemic here, just keep buying things").

I for one will welcome when Andrea Mitchell and Tom Friedman are shipped to the re-education labor camps.

NBC has a live stream here with, mercifully, no commentary. CNN has nothing. From their own HQ city.

This should be Pacifica, NPR, and PBS' moment to shine, unless they've been neutered by their corporate sponsors. I have a feeling ADM and Boeing aren't interested in allowing this is be shown to people unless it is carefully massaged by their servants first.

There is a fire outside CNN headquarters in Atlanta.

According to Nextdoor the Holiday near my house on Medicine Lake Road was threatened.

Cities of Roseville, Bloomington and Maple Grove and in the Twin Cities metro area and Dakota County will also impose overnight curfews: 8 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday and 8 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday.
