Re: Cops 7: What Could Go Wrong?

'Member that movie, "The Purge"? We're watching it, live.

Purge was about settling scores, right?

I did wonder when dx mentioned 3 different auto body shops going up though. If that happened in NYC my first thought would be, "Ivan and Vlad are fighting."

Re: Cops 7: What Could Go Wrong?

Several reports saying the guard is on way to 3rd precinct.

I wouldn’t want to be there for that

Honestly I think it will be better. Except I don't know if their training is very good. They don't really have unit cohesion, do they?

That was the original purpose, but overall, "commit any crime in this time frame? You're good, dog."

Watching this, you can see it coming...

I didn't see it coming. I thought maybe the lead protester would start getting crazy. That was horrific. :(

Auto parts

All three different chains too. Bizarre.

Yeah, that's really fishy if they were torched and nothing around them was touched. Almost like somebody was engaging in a little entrepreneurial competition.

Re: Cops 7: What Could Go Wrong?

An open comment to the nice young man who just suggested they march on the state capitol building:

Son,

No. That will not go well.

Burn down the precinct house, declare victory, and go home.

From what I've heard, the criminals were especially targeting chains, and mom-pop shops were less targeted. soh stated that many think that chain stores contributed to their living situation (poverty/etc).

Re: Cops 7: What Could Go Wrong?

The entire block of Lake and Minnehaha is on fire...a lot of small businesses are now being purged to make way for the SOUTH MINNEAPOLIS SUPER GENTRIFICATION!!

Yeah dont be like the conspiracy bots. The Auto Parts chains were burned because they light up fast like a torch. And businesses around them had issues as well.
