Except they're not. I don't agree with what is going on, but a lot of people blame these chains they're hitting for being part of the reason they're poor.
I'm 100% behind the peaceful protesters. The looters/etc...nope. The blame is misplaced, IMO, for that situation.
Those who make non-violent change impossible make violent change inevitable.
Gandhi comes to mind. He changed a few things.
He did, but there was also a violent wing, as there was with the Civil Rights Movement. Carrot / stick.
Unfortunately TPTB don't pay any attention until they start losing property. Then it's a crisis. If non-violence always won the cops wouldn't have guns.
