Presumably unarmed and handcuffed...not even the staunchest police supporters can defend that.

Sadly, I won’t be surprised if I’m proven wrong.

Note he's being held for "resisting arrest" for (1) asking for ID from a non-uniformed policeman, and (2) asking why he was being detained.

That takes some balls...charging him with resisting when there is video clearly showing him not resisting.

She's lucky they didn't arrest her, or worse. Our cops are basically third world at this point. I'm sure those torture rooms from 100 years ago are up and humming again in most cities, particularly in red states.

The undercover ahole thinks he's a hero for detaining the guy for smoking weed. He has the right, but still eff him. The problem then comes when backup arrives and the guy clearly doesn't want to be put into cuffs. At that point he is technically "resisting", although I hate that term because every person on the planet would question "why the eff are you detaining me?" at that point in time.

Skimmed the 105 page DOJ report on Ferguson. I have enough write 34 pages at least on structural inequality in Ferguson, MO for school.

The font my company created for itself is an affront to legibility. All of our official communications come with it.

When computers were introduced to Muskegon High, Times New Roman was the default font and we had to use it.

I think it's the default of APA as well.

Me too, but there was a time before Calibri was widely available.

And I am old enough to remember when the default body text for Apple was Mac Type, so I'm never going to b-tch about TNR.

I also mourn the passing of Palatino.
