Re: Cops 4: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

That is not good. That being said, the cynic in me is going to ask if there will be a city-wide protest. Or national coverage.

It only garners ratings if you can sell racism, because sheeple will watch that in outrage and demand action about the Trojan horse of race.

Re: Cops 4: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Who cares? While I understand the point you're trying to make all that does is distract from the actual conversation that should be taking place and makes you no better than the few BLM reps that do the same. You're not a bobo so don't act like one.

A bobo? ;)

Sorry, had to chuckle, haven't heard that term in quite a while. :D

It's also about race. You not seeing it does not change the fact.

If it's happening to people of all races, perhaps it's time you should look at the elephant in the room. But keep dividing the populace because they evidently teach that in the Ivies.

That is really funny coming from you...

Re: Cops 4: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

This cant continue...

It can. And it will. How many days do you think it will be before another video is released and reasonable people say the exact same thing, "this can't continue?"

Notre Dame football fans are wondering how many mediocre coaches in a row the program can handle before we realize that the party is over, and the Notre Dame football of our youth is gone, never to return. Well, that time has come and gone. I believe the state of policing in our county is almost to the point of a similar no return. Policing is ineffective at best for many of us. They are not preventing crime, they are getting less and less successful when it comes to holding criminals to account after they have committed a crime. Crime is prevented by social policy and education, not by having a militarized police force roaming the streets looking more like a modern well armed gang than a force for good, employed only to serve and protect. And of course they shoot unarmed civilian after unarmed civilian and never ever seem to pay any real price, so there's that too.

But really, how many 12 year old boys, or mentally ill homeless men, do cops have to kill before we say "this can't continue"? I would think the answer would be "one." But it isn't.

That will go nowhere...you can already smell the "if he did nothing wrong why did he run from the cops" memes baking.

And that's exactly why "this can't continue" doesn't actually happen. Either the "copsuckers" do exactly what you mentioned, or because of the way the media portrays it, any sort of protest is dismissed as racial terrorism. This is why we need to look at all cases of brutality equally, recognize that is the problem itself, and only then will we all have a common goal to resolve this issue.
