IMO, just like the ratio of coverage of police shooting criminals vs police getting shot by criminals. ;)

Exactly why I was telling joecct that libs have dismissed the lamestream media going back awhile now. It (the media) doesn't have the ability to filter out right wing fringe stories and gives them front page treatment no matter how ridiculous. I'm sure the excuse is "we're not covering the accusation, we're covering the controversy over the accusation" or some nonsense like that but really, unless you're old enough to remember Walter Kronkite and Woodward and Bernstein, the national media has been filled up with nothing but clowns for the last 30 years at least.

Because half of the political right in this country are so (a) paranoid, (b) crazy, (c) stupid, or (d) all of the above, they not only believe this stuff, they have to believe it to reinforce their Manichean worldview. They need there to be a conspiracy against them since otherwise they've just wasted the last 7 years of their lives hiding in their prepper caves clutching their guns and their Bibles. They need Obama and the UN to be coming for their freedumb since otherwise they're just clueless old bigots traumatized by their loss of privilege and offering no contribution to the world other than making a few cynical pundits and televangelists rich.

The far right pretends they are persecuted because they can't face up to the awful truth that they're irrelevant.

Wow, did you miss the point. I thought ivy leaguers were supposed to be smart. :p

The point is that there's a broader urban problem, and it's not just limited to these two municipalities, although two municipalities is a good start. The point is that they are taking a deeper look into why these slums are the way they are, and what's holding them back from being productive, thereby forcing them to desperately turn to lives of crime in order to fulfill their desires.

I can tell you didn't actually read the whole thing, and instead saw the words Federal Reserve, took it out of context, and recited the narratives dictated to you by CNN and MSNBC.

So then they should've charged him with a crime rather than executing him. Too bad the taser is uncomfortable and they're too lazy to install dash cams.
