Who gives a fuck why they shoot center mass? A cop shooting someone is or is not justified regardless.

Because when they say they're not trained to add hoot to kill, and then a farking former FBI supervisory agent comes out and all but says they are, it's more proof that cops are not your friends and you should have a healthy skepticism of what they say.

Well, the whole idea is if you have made the decision to fire on a person you have decided that stopping them is the prime consideration, so you aim for the center of mass. We're trained by TV and movies that good cops shoot the gun out of people's hand, or shoot to disable them by hitting their trigger finger or their legs. That's all nonsense. Guns are for killing.

Right, and the line cops always say is they're trained to shoot the center mass so they don't miss (never mind that they still miss a whole lot). This FBI agent basically says they're trained to shoot the center mass because the easiest way to stop a threat is to kill the target. But they aren't actually trained to kill the target, they're trained to stop the attack.

Again, that's doublespeak that would make politicians blush. It's grade A bullshiat.

That's the thing, though, is that the police should only fire upon an assailant if it creates an immediate threat to either the police or an innocent civilian. Clearly, we can see that's not strictly the case with video being released over the past few years. But when you apply their stated doctrine of when an officer should fire its weapon, then the action eliminates the threat to public safety - be it by killing or injuring the perpetrator. Shooting center mass is the only reliable option to meet that goal.

Biggest problem with this is there will always be a temporary perception of threat, hence why everything is always self-investigated and determined no wrong was done. It's blatant terrorism and genocide what is happening these days.

There's a concerted extermination effort of one or more specific races, religions, or creeds happening by the various independent police departments in this nation?

They may be independent in name, but they're getting their information and training from the Southern Poverty Law Center, as "leaked" in Spokane WA.

They aren't trained to kill the target. They are trained to hit the biggest mass of the target, which HAPPENS to also be an area that is vital to life. Two separate issues. If they were trained to kill, now we're talking very specific areas: head, heart. General vs specific areas.
