Congrats, Yalies, on your well-deserved championship--you were clearly the best team in the tournament. Props, too, to Quinnipiac for an outstanding season and the ECAC (no more EZAC!) on its return to prominence. Last team in, last team out--very impressive

Saw Yale at BC back in November and saw what kind of team they are.
Then wondered what the hell happened to them after that?

Following in the footsteps of the UConn women, Yale duplicated their feat of winning the fourth game having lost the first three. Teams with character do that. They never give up. Congrats. All of CT is a winner today, and I say this even though I am a Quinnipiac fan (after Clarkson and UConn).

Not enough is being made of their run to win this. Beating #1 Minnesota and North Dakota out west, a very hot #1 UML team and then the overall #1 team Quinnipiac is extremely impressive. I don't think a more difficult path could of been laid of for them in order to win it all. That is truly deserving of a national championship. Congrats.

Congrats to the Eli. You played out of your minds all tourney and deserved the title. Took the hardest path imaginable to get there. QU also deserves props for a great season and carrying the ECAC banner onward.
