It'll be Tue, if there is one. NFL has precedence over MLB, and they said a week ago or so that they are NOT moving the MN-GB NFL game.

I think it's more the fact that it's MNF with MN-GB and BrettFavre.

If it was MN-Det, or MN (insert non-division team that sucks) NFL would probably say, sure, go for it.....for a fee. Which the MLB would pay)

Gonna be a heck of a post-game at the Dome tomorrow...regardless of what happens in the game. The CWS-DET game should be over before the KC-MIN game.

If the season to date is any indicator, they don't possess much that's capable of beating NY anyway. I'm thinking that after the last few weeks, their emotional load is either shot, or they have a pretty healthy supply. The Cabrera acquisition looks better every day, because he seems to supply a lot of the spirit for this team. If the Twins do advance, their best bets are a) they are playing with house money at this point; b) they really aren't the same team that got punked by the Yanks anymore. If the Tigers win the div., they will also have some intangibles on their side, given that suddenly they get another shot to prove themselves after winning a huge game to get in. None of this matters if NYY plays like the best team in baseball and sweeps in 3, but there have been other recent seasons were they were and didn't perform like it in October.

Although beating the Yanks would be nice I pretty much decided that winning the division was about all anyone could hope for for this season.

I'll be happy if they just do that.

If your game was rained out and postponed until Monday so that the Twins spent an off day watching a game before learning if they had a playoff on Tuesday, it would be very, very similar to last year.

Given that it's a 1pm start, I wouldn't be surprised if MLB flat out said finish by midnight one way or the other.
