Seeing as how they promise three hots and a cot, you won't have to worry about the latter. :p

Yeah, but the food's better over at Ikea. How do I get picked up by the Swedish illuminati?

Say Swanson meatballs are as good as the best Swedish meatball?

This is scary. Should Uncle Bernie confiscate some of this?

Apple has $216 billion in cash. It could buy all the

...and still have $63 billion left. $AAPL

More interestingly, I saw a clickbait story yesterday that even with their current upheaval in upper management, Twitter has enough money to survive for 412 years with their existing financials. Granted, this likely accounted for everything else maintaining current levels (Ceteris paribus in Kepler-speak :p), which it most certainly will not, and I highly doubt the article took projected inflation into account, but I digress.

Funny thing is, I'm still convinced it was only placed on the Dow 30 to drive up the value.

Some good the ban did. I've seen a handful around town, regardless.

All it means is that the sale happens in another state that gets the sales tax for the roughly 100k sale.

The dealerships don't want all the automakers to start selling direct or a company like Amazon to get involved. They want to do anything they can to not be disintermediated.

I get the point. That doesn't mean it isn't a stupid and ultimately unenforceable law.

The winds of change are coming, and it's time for the auto retailers to adapt or die.

Tesla's stock seems to be tanking.

That has nothing to do with Michigan dealership situation. They've been having some quality control issues cropping up for the past few months.

Agree that it has nothing to do with the dealership situation. But I think they have more issues than just quality control. Elan Musk is a smart guy and he may turn Tesla into a big success story yet, but so far it seems to be running mostly on hype.

Re: Completely Unwoven: Business, Economics, and Tax Policy 4.0

Some QC issues? That's putting it mildly. For a $90k car, a 33% drivetrain failure rate is absolutely unheard of.
