looks like he,Adams only played 2 games and bailed ,ice time??..clash of personality?? played 2 yrs in the BCHL, top jr league,and picked up 46pts in 84 games,respectable for that league...5 '11' 200lbs,,LW 21yo...palying for the Soo eagles in the NAHL,doing well..he will also be joined by another BCHLer who was previously mention,Manny Gialedakis, who is having a great yr in that league,Rj Berra was also a BCHL recruit...ok we only need another 8 or 9 recruits:eek:...Goalies needed inquiry within...edit; after reading the Soo eagles site , he left Holly Cross, due to financial stuff.

Gilbert could carry the team I'm sure, but yeah we need a backup or two pretty bad. Oswego has had very very bad luck when it comes to goalies getting injured.

Gilbert is untested, bottom line........we need a goalie competition in camp and for the weeks to follow when the season opens,gilbert has looked good when he came in a few time,only 155 mins played, not the body of work that one puts in to get the starting job at Oz, it will be interesting and I expect a transfer to come and put in some work.

47gp, 1855:41, 12-18-1 record, 3.85gaa, .911sv%, 0 SO.

Elmira has a goaltending issue, and this guy's stats certainly don't wow me... :(

I wouldn't get too caught up in those numbers. I've certainly seen good numbers in juniors turn out not so good in D3, so we'll just have to wait and see! :)

Elmira has a good coaching staff though, and that can make a huge difference. I wouldn't be surprised if Elmira had another year like last year.

W/L record and GAA can be very dependent on the team in front of you. In many cases on really good teams the guy with the best GAA and highest winning percent is the backup goalie, because he plays against the second rate opponents and has a good defense in front of him.

On the other hand, there are some goalies who are really good, but find the deck stacked against them because they have no defense in front of them. You really have to see a guy play

10-4,also dont think they could do muich worse than they did this yr,a goaltending battle may be what they need, not sure but this yr didnt seem like a battle but more like who cares, I'm sure jconner knows more
