Should be the Wisconsin announcers, FSRM only does DU games, not CC. Not sure why but the only CC games that get televised seem to be when they travel to UAA, shown on the CW affiliate in Colorado Springs.

It is reported (see below) that it will in fact be the Wisconsin crew.

Swami, I don't think the majority of us fans (self included) know which knee it is. It has only been reported as a "sore knee" without indicating which knee it is. After four years I do not even recall which knee gave out on him his Freshman season.

Turnbull got the nod over Davies, though madison.com didn't make it sound like Podge didn't earn it as Davies practiced poorly enough to lose it. Once Lee gets on the ice, Podge will be out anyway.

Not sure what kind of statement that is but i know Podge worked his ?!$ off this summer and I'm sure that had something to do with the decision, i'll agree that Davies didn't look that great in the scrimmages but I can say that for a couple other players as well... I'm sure podge did what he had to do to get into the lineup or he wouldn't be put on a top scoring line...players do improve in the offseason and all these guys are in unbelievable shape going into the year...

Also I think there is an added advantage to have some size and grit in the corners against this CC team. Each line should have one of those type guys on it this weekend.

I'm getting itchy boys. I've been primiin' the pump watching Center Ice for 2 weeks (Skille played out of his aaaaaaasss last night.)

I can't believe I forgot to welcome Ron Jeremy, errr I mean Scotty Owens home. Welcome back, homey.

I, too, believe Goody will start Friday. He has "been here", and you guys have reported him looking better at the scrimmage. I can't wait to watch the defense; I hope they live up to the hype. At the top of my list is Madison east-sider Craig Smith. I've been waiting to see him in Cardinal & White for years. EAST SAHEEED!

I'm not hoping for a great year, I'm expecting it.

The NCAA got his paperwork last week I think....I guess it depends on the carrier pigeon and the wind direction as to when UW will get official written notice.

IMHO, I think he's a top 2 line guy, but @ UW the 3rd line talent is really high, so him being on the 3rd line wouldn't necessarily indicate his or his linemate's talent. He's a pp guy for sure.

MCR and I were wrong with Bennett starting Friday. I'm shocked. Eaves sure screwed that one up. Never doubt the goalie Dad's. :D

Which I had gotten from Baggot (linked him in my post that Tim borrowed from). Lines posted last night by Baggot are a bit different, with Grotting on Street's line and Podge on Dolan's line.

I'm pumped too. We cancelled the satellite over the summer, but the installer is at my house now, getting us all set up. First thing to do when I get home is set the DVR.

I can't wait for tonight!

I don't know, Chuck, PJ didn't have a great season last year, but I have a better feeling about him for this year. And I just don't see PJ sitting for the opening series.

Davies clearly has talent, but he seems to have somewhat of an apathetic attitude. He needed to be scratched several times last season as a wake-up call, and one would hope that he wouldn't need a wake-up call already this season, but whatever. I wish he'd give a bit more sustained effort, because he could score a good number of goals for us . . .

Davies wasn't brought here for his attitude. He wasn't brought here for his effort. He wasn't brought here to dig pucks out of the corner. He was brought here to do one thing, and that was put points on the board. And he's proved throught his career here that he can do that at a high clip.

Tru' dat!

If we lose with BB tonight, don't blame us, we voted for the other guy. :p

I guessed Goody going by what I read the past week. I guess it's true what they say about believing what you read on the internet. Whatever went down this week, Eaves made his choice, Brett will do his best and I hope Goody keeps his chin up. I was expecting a fast ball and got a cutter.
