Re: College Football III: We may lose, but we keep the score close!

And seriously, how much can the Six Flags Guy know about college football, even if he is the President at OSU?

Um. Miami? Florida State? Va Tech?

Unless you are counting the ACC as the SEC's farm system, which is understandable.

But even so. Nebraska? Oklahoma? Texas? SMU?

tOSU and the University of Spoiled Children are in fine company as dis-honorary SEC members.

You got me on Florida State - I always forget they aren't SEC.
Miami I don't think is as corrupt as the SEC schools institutionally; I just think they just accept more deliquents and thugs than most schools.
VaTech, Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma I got nothing on. I think their priorities are screwed up sometimes, but I'd still take a compliance job at any of them if offered, unlike the SEC schools. (especially since Sampson is no longer at OU).

SMU I wasn't even considering, since they aren't in the BCS.

At least their schools don't cover up rapes by their football players, Notre Lame. Or have kids die while taping practices.

Notre Dame is in a class all its own as a corrupt program. Glass houses.

Re: College Football III: We may lose, but we keep the score close!

I didn't know that when Gee said he was president of an SEC university he meant Vanderbilt. Really? That's what you gives you your football expertise?

Re: College Football III: We may lose, but we keep the score close!

How exactly does this make a school corrupt? Negligent, yes, but corrupt?

Oh, that's right, you can't post rationally about Notre Dame. Carry on.

Tell him USC knew about reggie bush and probably facilitated the whole thing and see what happens.

So no mention of the rape cover-up then. Nice.

And dk, again you are uninformed. Read the NCAA report. You obviously have not so you like to bash USC like a cretin. Read it. It's a load of complete garbage with the NCAA frequently jumping several steps of logical analysis to come to the finding they wanted to come to.

Re: College Football III: We may lose, but we keep the score close!

I don't give a **** what the report says, if you don't think the school was complicit, I want what you're smoking. I don't care about USC either way. I don't have any hatred or love for them. I don't care about most teams outside the Big Ten. I have no idea where you got the idea I hate USC.

You obviously suck the collective dick of USC like a crack whore. MNS is right, you can't hold a rational discussion with you about USC or any of their rivals

Dude, you're arguing a case that was lost long ago. The NCAA *never* makes mistakes or uses illogical arguments (just ask our friends from North Dakota). I know from personal experience that every word in an NCAA report is essentially faxed from God and its veracity is beyond reproach. Just accept it and move on.

I love how CBS is marketing the SEC Title Game during the Lions/Pats game... They mention how Auburn is just needs to beat South Carolina to get to the national title game... I guess CBS was assured that a loss in the Iron Bowl wouldn't change that....

That makes the Auburn-Alabama game kinda anticlimactic.

The SEC-NC$$ axis of evil has declared Auburn will overtake Oregon in the polls even if they lose to 'Bama and SC.

Derek Jeter will start for Auburn in the title game as part of a deal with ESPN. The game will be played at Fenway, and will be intercut with Ken Burns filming Ovechkin and Crosby fellating each other on the star at Cowboys Stadium.

I'll give you credit... I do think that WI does have credentials if it comes down to a situation where a 1-loss team is a viable option...
