William and Mary over UVA last year. James Madison over VaTech this year. William and Mary leading UNC on UNC's homecoming.

The bottom ACC team should play the top CAA team to avoid relegation. Soccer-style. :-P

Re: College Football III: We may lose, but we keep the score close!

Nebraska 24, Missouri 0
Iowa 17, Michigan State 0

I think that sound is the planets re-aligning themselves properly.

Keep it rolling, Iowa.

Love,

The State of Wisconsin

Rooting for USC and Ole Miss to win. If they do, I would love to hear the BCS' excuse for keeping Boise and/or TCU out of the top two spots.

My best case scenario is that either Boise or TCU gets into the national title game and wins a squeaker, while the other throttles their opponent in a BCS bowl, so they share the national championship and both beat BCS conference teams to do so.

Basically a penalty on every play of the Tulsa-ND game. Terrible football.

Re: College Football III: We may lose, but we keep the score close!

Brian Kelly should call Duke next year before they play Navy. The Blue Devils can apparently stop the triple option, up 24-0 at halftime.

Re: College Football III: We may lose, but we keep the score close!

What in the world was the thinking behind that ND playcall?

Zook wants to build some stats for his kid, he's free to do so, just remember that the red jersey doesn't go on him when they're up by 30.

Far better to send in the second string, let them get some game reps in a blowout. If they still run up the score, then so be it.

Agreed on both counts, probably a silly thing for Zook to do. However, it always makes me laugh to see opposing coaches complain about it, because they're coaching the other team. If they dislike it so much, how about stopping it?

True that. It's not the other coachs job to stop his team from scoring.

Michigan doesn't look good at all. 28-10 psu.

Any reason Gameday shouldn't be in Salt Lake City for the #4 TCU @ #8 Utah game? The only reasonable competition comes from #7 Alabama in Baton Rouge against #12 LSU.

They'll be in Cajun country if they don't want TCU or Boise in the BCS bowl.

Re: College Football III: We may lose, but we keep the score close!

So #1 and #2 will win and remain ahead of Boise. TCU is winning, so they'll remain at #4. More than likely, 1-loss Alabama will be #5.

Then Alabama will eventually beat Auburn and they'll jump up to #2 while Boise and TCU stay at #3 and #4. It's almost like it's rigged or something.
