College Football 2025

Man, the Cougs have really Couge'd it. They were up by 10 late in the 4th, and are now behind by 2. Lots and lots and lots of mental errors- one player caused 10 yards of penalties on one drive that gave the ball back to UVa. And then on the kick off, the non catching player called a fair catch- so the play stops at wherever the ball is caught- on the one. Couple of mental errors and then a safety.

Wazzu has some real mental issues.

I think the stat was supposed to be Georgia Tech is 7-0 for the first time since 1966. Maybe they haven’t beaten Duke in basketball since 1966 (I know this isn’t true either).

Vanderbilt is good at football? Okay. Indiana is good? Fine. But both at the same time? That’s like rolling a Yahtzee with 30 12-sided dice.
As a Hoosier fan, last season was surreal, but two years in a row of being this good at football? Fuck, they’re the worst college football program of all-time, although if Cignetti doesn’t drop dead of a heart attack or leave for greener pastures soon, I think they’ll pass Wake Forest within the next season or two and happily take their seat as the 2nd worst college football program of all time.

Before 2020, the last four-game losing streak in Florida State history was Darrell Mudra's final year in 1975.

This is now Mike Norvell's FOURTH four-game losing streak.

Florida fired coach Billy Napier on Sunday, a day after an error-filled win against Mississippi State that included more head-scratching calls and offensive lulls like those that marked much of his four-year run with the Gators.

I can't believe there is enough quality coaches to fill all these vacancies. Florida, Penn State, UCLA, Arkansas, OK ST, VT. If you are Florida State, and Michigan State, do you keep on one more season where there is less big name openings to get a better guy?
