I actually had no idea Howard had a football team. Assumed they would consider that a perpetuation of slavery (which... not a bad argument, really).

I watched the wrong half of that game. Turned back in time to see UCLA's final drive and the fake spike.
Sumlin tried to be a good sport and walk off at the half with the ball on the UCLA 40 instead of trying a Hail Mary or FG with his all-world kicker. I'm sure he would've liked another try at points now.

The new starter is 6'5" 185 lbs, and doesn't look anywhere near that heavy. He may not survive whatever cupcake they play this week.

Don't get me wrong, I hate the Criminoles as much as the next guy, but here's to hoping that they circle the wagons and get back to a Top 5-10 team in time to get destroyed in Death Valley on November 11, 2017.

Then they'll throw another freshman on the barbecue. They have a junior or senior who was so awful in the Peach Bowl that they rushed Sean McGuire back in the 2nd half with a shattered ankle.
Their other recruits either left to go snort snow in California (Malik Henry) instead of going to class or got expelled (Deondre Johnson) for domestic violence.
