Yeah, that's about what he does. I'm pretty sure he averages less than 40/punt.

If it's intentional it's trying to avoid the runback (which is dumb, just angle it and get 40 and out of bounds). I remember seeing a game where the only punter available broke a toe and kicked the rest of the game with the side of his foot. It looked like that -- squib grounders, going maybe 25-30 yards. It was suboptimal.

Gosh...seeing that replay again of the hit to Watson's head early in the 1st...that dude (both Watson and Alabama player) is lucky to still be playing. That was brutal.

He could very easily have quack-hooked that punt to the tune of about 11 yards.
