Not sure if going for if on 4th down is a good choice here. Your defense had a great start to the game against a freshman QB...try and pin them deep and let your D get you the ball back.

Agreed. There is a time for being aggressive. I don't think early in the first quarter in a 0-0 game is the right time.

Yuck. Terrible call. Big momentum swing for Alabama after it was slightly in favor of Clemson early on.

Wuff...7-0 Tide. Terrible decision on 4th and 1 by Clemson. All the momentum tilting Alabama's way. Now Watson needs to step up and lead the Tigers in for a score. Can't let the game get out of hand.

I think the next Clemson D series matters more. If the game settles down into a defensive struggle then, well, they made one mistake but sh-t happens. But if Alabama is going to run through them all night, it's not going to matter even if Clemson scores 35.

This series would matter less if it was 7-7. I'll take a shootout over a defensive struggle...especially down by 7.

Yeah, if Williams is out, that severely limits our passing game. He's such a key player, especially on 3rd down and in the red zone. Need him back.
