Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

Back to back false starts on 1st down is always a pleasant occurrence.

Impossible to overstate how bad the first quarter was for Rutgers. Trails Howard — Howard! — 14-7 and outgained 159-15. Pitiful.

Howard lost 76-0 to Boston College last year.

CMU upsets Oklahoma State on a Hail Mary with no time remaining, on a play that apparently should have not been allowed by rule. The prior play was a 4th down intentional grounding by Oklahoma State, which according to Mike Perriera says that the game should not be extended on an offensive play, even if it includes loss of down.

I'm fine with OSU not getting rewarded for intentional grounding on the last play of the game.

How does USC follow up a player getting ejected/suspended for kicking an opponent in the groin? By having a player get ejected/suspended for punching a ref.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

Tough start for Northwestern.

In college hockey on the grid iron action, looks like North Dakota and Bowling Green are going to OT.

Edit: Scratch that, ND goes for two and drops it in the endzone. BGSU escapes 27-26.

156,990. Of which roughly 17 of them have anything that remotely looks like a decent sight line.

ACC has pulled all championships out of the state, including the football championship that was supposed to be in Charlotte in December.
