Re: College Football 2015-16: The Big Ten Rises

Easy for you to say considering we've won the jug what? Once in the last 20 years? :)

I think it is actually twice in the last 20 years.

The Gophers should be pretty decent this year. I don't know how many wins they'll have, but they should have more talent than last year, and they should be competitive in all, except maybe OSU, games. There is a pretty large range of possible records, in my opinion. I could see them get it going, go on a roll and win several games from DX's last grouping, they could also go the other direction.

Well, crap. State just lost their best starting linebacker, Ed Davis. We're deep there but this one will be tough to recover from.

Or maybe a better reply would have been:

It's time to change the chant to "Who hates Union?"
""The NLRB"

Edit: from the comment section

This is just the first of many times this year where Northwestern football’s attempts to organize an effective campaign will be killed with a punt.

AP Poll is out

1. OSU
2. TCU
3. Bama
4. Baylor
5. MSU
6. Auburn
7. Oregon
8. USC
9. Georgia
10. FSU

Like the coaches poll, Wisconsin is the only other Big Ten team in the Top 25. 8 SEC teams.

I'm pretty excited to watch Iowa underachiever another charmin ultra soft schedule this year and win 7 games.

I think last year Mav and I did some predictions. I'll throw out some this year but will probably keep it to division winners and conference champ rather than the entire conference like we did.

I'll start with the ACC:

Atlantic division has the most top teams with Clemson, FSU, and Louisville being named favorites. FSU needed Winston to help them out in a lot of situations last year, so I don't think they'll be able to get the three-peat. I have Clemson taking the Atlantic.

Coastal is GaTech, then VaTech, then no one. VaTech could turn some heads but I'm going to go with GaTech to return to the championship game.

I think the triple option takes down Clemson in Charlotte, with Georgia Tech beating Clemson for the ACC title.
