The meltdowns in Lincoln must be Trumpesque.

Not agreeing with the logic, but....

Could it be financially driven? Nebraska doesn't have a bouncy ball following, so I am sure football is the only revenue positive sport on that campus... They probably need the cash on hand that this game would have brought in with it's limited capacity and TV monies...

There is no capacity outside of family and TV money is shared equally. The conference may be losing money by not having the game this week, but everyone should be losing the same amount.

Their best shot at getting the Big Ten to break the conference only rule would’ve been Army due to their built-in bubble.

That doesnt work within the Big Ten rules so if that is what they were banking on they are even dumber than I think they are.

Ok. I figured Nebraska was a DERP state so they might have been allowing some capacity in the building.

Chattanooga would cost them more money to put on than not playing. Games are a net loss, and for sure, any B1G coverage of a lame game like that would go unwatched by anyone not Nebraska- which results in lower revenue.

If that's the motivation, it's pretty misguided, as I see it.

IDK... I'm done trying to figure this stuff out... It hurts to try and think of logical reasons for this stuff, but I still try and see it....

Jesus it is long past time these clowns are kicked out of the Big Ten. They dont give a crap about the rules and are obviously too stupid to be a part of the conference anyways.

They aren't even an accredited school anymore, not that the B1G has honestly cared about the academics of its members since the 60s.

The only logic you need to remember is the "N" on the flag stands for "Nowledge". They are full on morons who think they are more important than they are.

Well in person in large groups I think they are great. Some of the best fans to be around at a game. (my seats were near some of the away seats) Individually they are just awful though and online they act like they should be ranked in the Top 3 every year. They remind me of UND fans in the early 00s who seemed to take it as a personal insult they werent #1 in every poll. (or Notre Dame Football fans...well since forever)

The best thing about being a solitary, thousands of miles distant, TV-only Notre Dame fan since the early 70s has been never once interacting face to face with another Notre Dame fan except my Dad. Based on UHND and other sites, actually-from-ND fans are the worst fans on an Earth that includes both Boston and Duke fans.

I always have a tiny, secret solace when we lose that it means those Notre Dame fans will be unhappy.

There should be a name for fans who love their team but hate their own fanbase.

Nebraska makes plenty of money on hoops. They just suck at it.
