Helluva kick by the Washington kicker in the mud.

30-30, likely to OT.

If Notre Dame keeps winning games like this Im going to have a serious heart problem by the end of the season...or an ulcer...

What a hit on the last play there...he got knocked out.

McCarthy is reminding me some of Zbikowski. He is definetly a great leader on defence making some great plays that are keeping the Irish in games (or in some cases sealing the win).

Offset by Hayseed Smith, who keeps lowering his head and missing tackles, and CB's that have lost their ability to break up passes.

Great game, some questionable calls both ways, you can see the importance of depth in these last few weeks. With incomplete recruiting classes in Ty's last two years and Charlie coming in late in his first year they had nobody backing up the Fr and So playing the last two years. It is a luxury to lose a top rated TB and bring in a guy that can play like Hughes.

A win two weeks from now and it gets really interesting.

Dear God Tedford, this team is playing like its 2001 again. I know a trip to Autzen and playing USC is tough but for %*^7 sake could you at least have kept one of these respectable. Its a tough Pac 10 this year and I now think we're looking a 7-5 or 8-4 campaign. This team needs to pick itself up off the mat because they look horrid. Fifty years since the last Rose Bowl and counting...

You'd prefer to lose games like this? ;)

We can hang a 40 on SC. The question is whether SC will score 30, 40, 50, 60,...

...

Are you really comparing any of these teams that you have faced to USC?

None of them are as good as USC defensively, so I am pretty confused to why you think you can hang 40 on USC...sure you'll have your refs but still.

Hey. They're part of the plan... :D

(1) The offense is good. (2) SC isn't all that.

On the flip side, our D might give up 30 to a Patriot League team.

The defense is incredible. Even with all the injuries, the defense is awesome.

The offense leaves something to be desired.

We shall see, in 2 weeks. I hate that stupid off week (and it isn't like it helps).

I can see ND winning 40-38 or losing 40-38. Or losing 55-8. If the latter, Charlie can just clean out his office even if they go 11-2 (which is retarded, but the way it goes).

Re: College Footbal 2009: Anybody want to be in the Top 5?

USC isn't giving up 30 points unless there are USC turnovers that give ND short fields. Even then, I would be surprised to see USC give up that many points...unless you also throw in some special teams TDs for ND.

How is Oklahoma still in the Top 25 (19th) at 2-2? They are the only 2 loss team in the poll. Get over them pollsters. They can't get to the National Title this year.

How is Ole Miss even ranked? They haven't beat anyone and lost to South Carolina.

And when will TCU get some fricken respect?

Likely quote from some dumb pollster: "They're the best 2-2 team in the nation."
