College Basketball 2024-25

Can't wait to see how Maine boy Cooper Flagg does at Duke. Maine is actually headed to duke to get slaughtered at some point :)
 
Virginia men's basketball coach Tony Bennett retiring after 15 years as head coach. Bennett is a two-time national coach of the year who led Virginia to a national championship in 2019. He won six Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season titles and two ACC tournament titles.
 
Kansas/Duke tonight at 9 on ESPN in game 2 of the Vegas Showdown. The Dookies(apologies to Green Day)are favored by 3.5, but I believe if both teams bring their A game Kansas wins.
 
My Hoosiers were utterly dismantled by Louisville. Time for Mike Woodson to go. Their collective talent is worthy of their ranking, but they look lost and uninterested. Not even worthy of a top 100 ranking. I hate Curt Cignetti’s personality, but if the a**hole stays while he continues to win 7-8+ games per year, I’ll live with it, assuming he isn’t stupid enough to get caught for the cheating.
 
Indiana has a date with (3)Gonzaga tomorrow as they were knocked off by unranked WVa.

They’re going to lose by 50.

Forgot to finish my previous thought. If Woodson was a successful a**hole, I wouldn’t care. But he’s a genuinely unsuccessful nice guy. Time for a change.

Duke was favored in that game? Duke is too young you be favored in any game this early. I've watched parts of a few games and they don't look that good to me. All the hype about Cooper Flagg must be getting to the guys setting the odds. The kid is 17 yrs old and is an all round good player but he isn't going to carry a team against good competition this early in the season. By the end of the season I can see him tearing it up though.
 
Since it's the weekend, wanted to point out to keep an eye on the Battle for Atlantis if you ever want to see your team there- we've managed to see our team there 3 times know when our ship visited in Nassau when the tournament was going on. Pretty easy excursion to take a taxi over to Atlantis to see a game.
