Colgate @ SLU 1/15

Re: Colgate @ SLU 1/15

Puck bounces into the slot for SLU and Long stops another.

Now Tisi. Cool goaltending duel going.

Re: Colgate @ SLU 1/15

Ooooooh, close call! McKenzie ripped one through the crease from the boards, and somebody tipped it out of play.

Re: Colgate @ SLU 1/15

Wow. Mike looked totally covered up by the D skating across the slot, and somehow he roofed a backhander. What hands.

Re: Colgate @ SLU 1/15

Two Saints just got tangled up and fell in their own zone, just as Colgate won a faceoff. Tisi made the save.

From Dan @ WDT:

Word is Armstrong is OK. He felt some tingling so all those measures were precautionary. Hopefully he'll be good for next weekend. It is unlikely he'll play tomorrow.

Re: Colgate @ SLU 1/15

McKenzie had a dangerous turnover a minute ago, and Keller picked him up. Saints are doing a good job keeping the puck in Long's end right now.

SLU wins the faceoff after the icing call, and scores on the shot.

2-0

Oh my goodness. McKenzie springs Carden for the partial break, and he buries it.

Re: Colgate @ SLU 1/15

OK, payback time. The icing that led to the goal was legit, but I wouldn't have been surprised if they waved it off. Now a Colgate penalty.
