Coach Lang echo'd that sentiment during the intermission interview saying he liked the first 10-12 minutes, but the defense in the last 8 min wasn't up to mites league standards.
 
Yes, we (WRPI) are busy on Valentine’s Day I’m not at the point yet where I could just go to a game instead. Soon though, maybe when I hit the 20 year mark for marriage, lol. Larry’s big-shotting us to cover for Matt on the ESPN feed with Fridge, so no WRPI tonight. We’ll have both games next weekend though, and a few special guests for Freakout!
 
Tale of 2 periods - first half we were moving extremely well with and without the puck. Last 1/2 we seemed to be the old RPI team just trying to clear the puck out of our zone and mostly ineffective in doing so. There were at least 4 broken sticks during the period and one snapped just before the Colgate goal which might have had some effect on concentration. If match ups make a difference, we did seem to match up for most of the 3 periods yesterday far better than tonight. Either Colgate is faster to the pucks or they are just in better positions to get there first. let's see if coach Lang can make some changes between periods.

I have a vague recollection that someone you expected last year didn't show up.

Since I can't listen to WRPI, I am listening to one of our recruit's games (Guo @ Saginaw). One of his teammates got a double minor penalty for slew footing near the end of the first period. It took ages for the refs to decide.

Not naming any names, but we were supposed to have someone and yes, they didn’t show up. It was a goalie from the 90’s who went on to play in the Flyers organization. He wasn’t big.

Just secured my Freakout tickets! Not a ton remaining except in the corners, so hopefully we'll have a (near) full house for the game.
