Colgate @ RPI (Sat 11/9)

Re: Colgate @ RPI (Sat 11/9)

Perhaps i am asking too much-but the interviews on RPI TV, as welcome as they are, just do not hold my interest as much as the ones on Yale's broadcasts.;)

Re: Colgate @ RPI (Sat 11/9)

Period ends with RPI up 2-0
Not our best period of the year, but we'll take it.

EHF: I liked the way we matched up with Cornell for 58 minutes yesterday far better. We seem to have left our legs in the dressing room tonight-or Colgate is a very quick team. Of course having to kill off a 5 minute penalty does tend to tilt the ice a bit.

Re: Colgate @ RPI (Sat 11/9)

Fortunate first period for us-and we lead 2-0 but Colgate is a much faster and smaller team than we saw last night. They are a step faster than us right now. Too much time and pressure in front of our net and we are indeed lucky to escape with a lead. Their goaltending so far is definitely the reason we have the lead.

Colgate was down 2-0 last night and came all the way back. A 2-0 lead after one period surely does not mean RPI has this one in the bag. Need to play a couple good periods - and unless Colgate's goalie continues in a charitable mood, may need to play better periods than what they played in the first.

Totally agree with you. We don't seem to match up to well with the Colgate forwards.

Re: Colgate @ RPI (Sat 11/9)

Another major awarded! What is going on here?

Both were potentially dangerous from an injury perspective but neither hit looked vicious. Curadi certainly deserved 5: whenever you get someone in the numbers from 6 feet off the boards it has to be called. I thought that Miller was trying to line up a shoulder hit, and just missed it, got knee to knee.

Re: Colgate @ RPI (Sat 11/9)

Colgate scores on the gift penalty-the replay shown never showed any knee to knee contact. interesting how the hurt player was back so quickly-just like those soccer injuries.

It was the EXACT same hit Cornell did on us. Typical bias by DuMass.
