Horrible whistle but it did blow and really questionable that our goal should have counted. If we do not start to win a far greater percentage of the face offs this is going to be a long difficult evening. We need to gain puck control against this quick team

No, that is Watson in the net for sure. I had thought coach would start Marshall for his last Freakout but I suppose he is saving that for senior night instead. He deserves a start for sticking around for the full time and devoting his college career to RPI. Well earned.
 
Is it me or has Ture Linden gotten faster every season he's been in Troy? I always thought of him as an average sort of skater with good hands and excellent hockey sense. However, I noticed on the forecheck and a couple of break-ins that he seemed to get on the defense faster than they expected, causing them to make mistakes.
 
I didn't watch the interview but my Dad said Dr. McElroy may have implied opening the doors for Senior Weekend? He doesn't hear that well so he could be mistaken. What did the good Dr. say?

I am one who underestimated him early on...thought that he was overrated. I have come to respect his speed and skill. The real test will be what he can do for this team down the stretch and in the playoffs. They need him to get hot.

I heard that as well. He said they are looking at a plan.

I believe he said that RPI had the most loyal fan base in the country and mentioned something about offering the fans an opportunity.
