Colgate 22-23

Right now Colgate is #2 in the PWR and Ohio State is #4. All that matters, might change today though !
 
We separated the women from the girls after today’s unfortunate 6-2 special teams loss and keeping Kalty scoreless. Already lost to Qpac, and Yale’s defense gives me no hope or confidence. Glad we stole a point. Back to the drawing board. Happy Thanksgiving.

If it weren't for the 5 minute major call I think it would have been a really tight game.

Time to remove the Go'Gate from your moniker and start rooting for the WCHA. It will do wonders for your mental health...

The major in the first killed us. Too hard to come back from against a team as good as OSU. Can make no mental mistakes...
 
Gotta love the excuses. Everyone’s full of them, especially on the men’s side. Keep dreaming, Oldtimer…Go ‘Gate.
 
Holding steady at No. 6 in 11/28 poll, but think we should swap with Northeastern. Believe the top 4 will be in the Frozen Four. They are all scary good and their defenses are key. Next weekend looks like a road split for the Raiders. Taking penalties against Yale will not do us any favors, and we need to shoot the puck every chance we get.
 
Colgate can absolutely play with Yale, but unless Yale's goalie cools down, the edge would goto Yale. Perhaps Minnesota putting three on her has chipped away at her confidence. The BC goalie was red hot last year until she wasn't. Fargo will have Colgate ready.
 
The rumor is that the school was not renewing her contract. Can't say how accurate that is but it's a rumor amongst the athletes.
 
Great to see from a freshman! Last Brown goal was sour. Any game Kalty doesn’t get a point is a bit surprising. Wasn’t needed against the Bears, but Yale has one of the stingiest defenses I’ve ever seen and they’ll take her out of every play. We’ll be lucky to get out of our own zone past the blue line. We are the underdogs today imo but the Bulldogs have given up 8g in their last two games, though those were against Cornell and Minnesota, who can score. Would be a signature win if we can make it happen, but the series against OSU makes me think otherwise.
 
Yale scores in last seconds of second period but Gate leads 4-2 after two ! We are playing very well.
