Tonight life is good...great effort by the coaching staff and the players...this was no fluke BTW...ECAC should have three teams in NCAA field; why not four??? GO GATE

I’m a Cornell grad, but Colgate dad and have seen a lot of the Raiders this year. Congrats to Colgate on a great performance. I agree this was not a fluke, as I thought overall Colgate had the edge in play and was not the least bit intimidated. They’ll be a worthy opponent against whoever emerges in the 2nd game.
 
I take back what I said about Gylander. He was immense tonight especially in the second period. Some of his saves were otherworldly. You guys deserved the win tonight. Hoping to see you tomorrow night in the finals.

What an awesome win tonight for the team and Coach Vaughn. Man I would love one more and a shot at the NCAAs in one of the NE Regionals.

MarkEagle or other Qpac fans, I have only watched them play vs. Colgate this year and have not been overly impressed compared to their phenomenal W/L record. Have we just matched up well?

I like our chances tomorrow night vs. whoever we get. I am very jealous of those of you there!

Congrats on outplaying us tonight. You deserved it. I said it to an alum friend during the game tonight, if you had no knowledge of us prior to this game, you would think we are a middle of the road team in all of college hockey. So yes you match up well with us and took us out of the routine of possession we have. Ultimately I think it’s a good wake up call for us but another disappointment in LP.

Gylander was fantastic and up to the task. Was fun to see him and a Perets battle it out. Good luck tomorrow, up your boys still have some legs

Ditto. Great win for the team and the program. Two wins over QU this season! Doesn't get better than that. Now let's have another great effort tomorrow.

Yeah I think Colgate is just a bad matchup for QU. We have perhaps the best goalie in college hockey, it's not often we get goalie'd. Gylander was a brick wall today. Congrats, hope you win tomorrow and give us four teams in the tourney.

I’m still with ya Shabby.

What can we say? Just a great effort today to beat a great team. I just think that the Game 1 win over SLU has given us some karma.

Had a previous commitment today otherwise I would have been there. But I’ll be there tomorrow night. And after 2 scoreless games I think the Youngs will get back on the scoresheet tomorrow.

2023: we defeat Quinnipiac in 2OT in Lake Placid.

That ice has some Raider magic to it.

Meanwhile Harvard and Cornell are also going to OT. Those who paid admission today are getting their money’s worth.

Harvard 0, Cornell 0, score after regulation.

Beautiful Harvard goal. 24-16 SOG. 1-0 score.

Love sending Quinnipiac home packing - AGAIN! Sounded like fans for the H/C game may have been cheering for us! We looked like a national caliber team on a mission that played like a No. 1 seed. We were consistent from beginning to end. Hadn’t really seen much of that all year. Q has been snake bitten in LP, but so are we; trying for our first trophy since 1990. Hope to rewrite the record books against the Crimson. One word to make that happen: Laferriere. Our offense has saved us a lot this season. It was the opposite tonight. We also did not give up the first goal; that was key
Can you Imagine…COLGATE…having Men’s AND Women’s ECAC Hockey Champions? Make it happen, Raiders, and get that AQ!
