Very frustrated with ESPN+. I was able to watch the first period and that was it!! Always love listening to Gate Radio, though. Happy for the guys to come away with the tie. I was at Andy Kerr Stadium earlier, and watched the football team win vs. James Madison in a very exciting and well attended game. Women's hockey completed the sweep with a win over SLU. Overall, a great weekend for 'Gate athletics. Go 'Gate!!

Am sure a come-from-behind tie felt like a win for the team.
Was happy to see friend Cam Strong get a goal each night for Dartmouth, just glad it wasn’t a GWG for the second straight night.
Who was in goal each night for Colgate?
Off to Niagara next weekend for both games. They are 7-4-1 in Atlantic Hockey this season, while getting swept by Penn State (Big Ten) and Western Michigan (NCHC) in non-conference play. They are also PWR 35 while we are PWR 48. As a point of reference, we got blown out by RIT (Atlantic Hockey), 6-1, and they are now PWR 34.
Go ‘Gate.

I have nothing good to say about ESPN+. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I have missed almost a half period while they get their act together. This is a mess. Glad the team got at least a tie and a point, tho the weekend was overall disappointing.

On the bright side, the football team beat JMU in an exciting, nail-biter of a game. Great for the team and the school. For hockey now it's on to Niagara. Let's hope they can draw some inspiration from Coach Hunt and his team.

time for yours truly to beat another dead horse...of our 8 losses 6 were essentially non-competitive efforts, being outscored 30-3...frankly, one could make the case we're lucky to be 3-8-2...

33.6 seconds left to go in first period and a stupid play defensively results in a one-goal lead by Niagara after one.
Colgate 10, Niagara 7, SOG after one.

A decent period, but we definitely need to play better in the third. And staying out of the penalty box would help.

To his credit, Niagara goalie Brian Wilson had a phenomenal third period.

nice of us to give Niagara their first o-o-c win for the year...and the 2 goals tonight raises our goals/game from 1.15 to 1.21...I frankly don't care if we're facing Ken Dryden in the nets every night 17 goals in 14 games is beyond unacceptable...and our best incoming recruit just re-committed to Michigan...all in all I should be happy I'm a Browns fan...didn't even watch the game...

I’m still here, supporting the team by going to all their games this season (‘cept the two last weekend). In fact, I just purchased my Nassau County Veterans Coliseum tix this past week for the Saturday, December 29, game against Quinnipiac. And I packed a second pair of rose-colored glasses in my mini-van, just in case I forget my first pair.

Thanks for the update Iowa. It's good to see what a great Colgate hockey fan you are, attending all games, home and away. It's the true testament of a die hard fan to go to all the games despite the "problematic" season we're having.

Was not able to see the last half of the game as ESPN+ failed again. I want my money back! :-((

Let's bring back a W tonight!
