1) 13 home games; 2) assessing the frosh to see if they can step up and fill the void left by some outstanding seniors; 3) Shabby starting the new thread in Sept/Oct :)

1) A healthy roster for the entire season; 2) An improvement for WIH; 3) A strong PWR; 4) A breakout year for the Spinks; 5) A final, winning season at Starr; 6) An elusive, 2nd ECAC title

1 last season in Starr....Home / Away at RIT right down the thruway....Darcy taking a leadership role ......a strong showing of support at games other than Cornell....Good Nature Beer.....finding the new talent that will contribute to the team

Has the team traveled to Italy yet? If so has anyone heard how it's going?....any scores or who we played? What is/was the schedule? When do they return or have they already returned? Or was the trip my imagination. Posters want to know. :)

Well, at least the webcam has a shadow of the steel in the morning...

There's a ground level pic on the Twitter feed, and it almost seems like it may end up being stairs/ramps outside up to what looks to be a concourse instead of offices on the "second floor", and then a bowl down. They might keep a few tunnels to enter, but there looks to be promenade room at the top.

I believe 'Gate went to Italy last year. SLU is over there this year.

A poster on the voy forum reported they were in Italy. Just wondering....

I saw on the news yesterday that some of the construction folks - I think it was the carpenters union - were picketing Colgate and the Class of '65 facility due to low wages paid by the university. I hope this does not set back the work schedule or delay the opening. Any posters have more info on this?

Vicky tweeted a pic yesterday of the team practicing at Starr and mentioned it was in advance of their trip to Europe. So it would appear that yes they are going, but they aren't there yet.

They went to Italy four years ago, they can only go every four years for some reason.

They changed the view on the webcam, about time. I visited Hamilton yest, they are replacing the roof on Sanford field house, was that slate, it must be millions.

Much better indeed on the webcam. Would have liked it a little more zoomed out, but this is still a heck of a lot better than staring at a pile of dirt. :)

Steel for the roof is starting; wouldn't surprised to see an American flag up there soon, as is tradition with any structural erection in this country.

Someone, somewhere commented that the roof on the student union was also being replaced, but with a slate-lookalike material. Perhaps the roof on Sanford is using the same fake stuff?

Yes, much better on the webcam. I think I can see my autograph in the first beam..:)

As far as GR question: I am excited for the final trip around Starr Rink and just hoping for a good year. I want to see how well Finn does in goal. He is going to have to stand on his head because our offense will not be as good as expected...

I'm wondering why Finn didn't play the first game, not sure of the others. I have a fun question to ponder, "who will be our first line"?
